Current Speaking Engagements

I regularly do media interviews and speaking events across the US and Canada.  I'm trying to limit my travel to save the planet, my body, and my sanity. Consequently I am very selective in accepting invitations that require travel, particularly air travel. The following is my schedule of confirmed public interviews and presentations.

SEPTEMBER

Seattle, WA
Sept 11: Seattle First United Methodist ChurchDavid will deliver the sermon - "Livng Economy for a Living Earth" - and participate in the following "Lunch and Learn" conversation. 

OCTOBER

Seattle, WA
Oct 5:
The Progress Alliance of Washington hosts the Roosevelt Institute's presentation of the "Rewrite the Rules" Project, followed by conversation among 50 Washington civic, business, and academic leaders (by invitation).

Oct 29: Alternative Futures Conference: Pathways Toward Ecological Civilization
, hosted by the Claremont School of Theology, Center for Process Studies, and Progressive Christians Uniting. David will speak on "Change the Story, Change the Future". See speaker bios and videos HERE

Beijing and Wuhan, China
Nov 7 - 14:
David accepted an invitation to speak at the Donghu Forum: Symposium on Green Development and Global Governance. His schedule also includes several opportunities (presentations, interviews, and conversations) involving Renmin University, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Xinhua News Agency, Chinese scholars, et al.

Jan 30 - Feb 3: University of Alberta hosts 2017 International Week.
